British Talent – Mr Gay UK Sam Kneen

As you probably know, I don’t really do the whole gay scene too often. I prefer a nice pub or an alternative club with some interesting music to the over-the-top scene out there. But having said that, there are some things about the whole gay scene that I do in fact love, and one of them is the Mr Gay UK contest.

This has been running since way back in 1982, when it officially started as a promotional campaign for a fragrance company. I know, it’s strange, but I guess the sight of some hunky men competing to be crowned was quickly gonna be hijacked by the gay community. It had everything we loved – gorgeous men, loud music, competition, drama, celebs… lol

Since it started out then it’s really had some highs and lows. Highs came in the late 1990′s when a relatively new TV channel broadcast the event live across the country. Lows came when it was hosted by Graham Norton – I’m kidding of course lol

Something you might not know is that Mr Gay UK 2007 is now a porn star.

I wonder if the gorgeous Mr Gay UK 2011 will ever progress into that field of work? I don’t think any of you guys would argue against that once you see Sam Kneen in his tight little trunks below…
